My name is Speck!

Meet Speck! Speck is a 7 year old, 29 lb French Bulldog who is basically the definition of a perfect little couch companion. He’s a true foodie at heart and believes all snacks are good snacks. He is happiest when he’s curled up under a fuzzy blanket, snoozing on the couch or stretched out in bed right next to his humans.

Speck is incredibly snuggly and loves being close. He’s the kind of guy who will happily settle in for a nap wherever you are. He plays beautifully with other dogs of all sizes, gets along well with cats, and brings an easygoing, friendly energy to every room.

He is house trained, crate trained, and not much of a barker at all. Instead, he communicates with the cutest little Frenchie snorts and snuffles, especially when his snout is busy doing important sniffies.

If you are looking for a sweet, low key, affectionate companion who will happily be your shadow and your nap buddy, Speck is ready to steal your heart and probably your snacks.

Speck is currently being fostered in Scotch Plains, NJ and his adoption fee is $600.

Speck is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
