My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Boo, an adorable Pit Bull Terrier mix with an estimated DOB of 5/1/25. She currently weighs about 25 pounds and has the perfect blend of playfulness, sweetness, and curiosity. Boo loves romping around the house, chasing toys, and playing with her foster dog friends both big and small. When playtime winds down, she’s happiest cuddled up with her canine buddies or snuggled in close with her people.

Boo is friendly, outgoing, and happy, though she can be a little shy in new situations. She’s making progress with her potty training, though she isn’t quite able to consistently hold it for a full workday yet. She sleeps gated in a separate room and does well in a gated area during the day. Boo has also completed an intro to agility class and is currently attending puppy obedience, showing she’s eager to learn.

This sweet pup enjoys car rides, loves to chew, adores toys, and is always ready to curl up in your lap. She does well with slow introductions to new dogs and has been redirectable during training classes, but she does have some mild reactivity that her adopters should be prepared to continue working on. Because of this, Boo would do best with experienced dog owners in a patient home that understands her need for proper introductions. She wouldn’t do well living next to a home with a fence-sharing dog, but she truly shines when she has support, structure, and the chance to build confidence at her own pace.

Boo is ready to bring joy, playfulness, and cuddles to her forever family. Her adoption fee has been fully sponsored by a Secret Santa! There is a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
