At 8 years young and 22 pounds, Pixie is proof that you don’t have to be tiny to have a big dose of fairy dust. This gentle, affectionate girl came from a hoarding situation, but she’s fast discovering that life can be full of soft beds, warm hearts, and endless love. And she is oh so appreciative!!

Pixie’s striking white coat with two black patches over her eyes gives her a look that’s both playful and endearing—like a little panda pixie spreading magic wherever she goes.

Pixie has a gentle, graceful way about her—she’ll ever so delicately place a paw on your arm to ask for more pets or nudge your hand with her nose, just to make sure the magic doesn’t stop. ✨

She still gets adorably excited when you come home, when it’s time for a walk, or when it's time for a treat!” That’s when you’ll hear her signature “awoo woo woo”—a song of joy that can melt even the toughest heart...every time!!!

Pixie loves people of all sizes (tall or small), enjoys the company of other dogs, and even does well with cat friends who understand her gentle vibe. She’s crate and house trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and loves to go exploring—her version of sprinkling pixie dust on every new adventure.

She does have an old injury to her left eye, leaving her blind on that side but she gets around just as well as any two-eyed pup.. It doesn’t seem to bother her at all, but it should be checked occasionally. Like many seniors, her hearing isn’t what it used to be—but slightly louder words and noises still get her attention!

Her favorite things?
🧚 Soft blankets, beds, and pillows (she’s basically a comfort connoisseur)
🧚 Belly and chin rubs (top of the head pets are hit or miss—she’ll politely duck if you forget!)
🧚 Snuggling beside you on the couch, sneaking in a few tiny kisses on your hand, and being near her people

Pixie is laid-back, an easy keeper, and an absolute joy—she would make an amazing companion for just about any family, even a first-time pet parent.
