Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Maya
Age: 8 years *young*
Location: Santa Barbara Campus
Dream Job: Ski Instructor
Hi friends, I'm Maya and I'm looking for a long term companion to spend the rest of my days with! I was previously in a home but my person was unable to take care of me and I was surrendered to the shelter. I'm a very sweet senior who is still full of life! I have recently been promoted as the new office manager and love spending my days in the office, doing- you know- office things, like making sure my employees are feeding me treats every hour and that the water bowl is always kept fresh. Important work. I also like to chat with all my friends and sing daily awoo woos. I'm very playful and enjoy entertaining myself with plushies, zooming around, taking a nap, and doing it all over again! I'd love a home where my hoomans will take me out on lots of long walks and new adventures. Whether you're an experienced husky owner or just someone who appreciates a dog with personality, I make the perfect companion with just the right mix of cuddly and active. Are you ready for the next love of your life?
Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission.
