Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Demi! This 3-year-old Boxer mix is as lovable as they come. With her soft eyes, big smile, and constantly wagging tail, she’ll have you wrapped around her paw in no time. Demi is what we like to call “extra huggable” (yes, a little chunky- currently built more like a sausage than a supermodel), but that just means more to cuddle! She’s recently started a new diet, so she’s officially on her “health kick” journey—though if you ask her, she’d still prefer pizza over Pilates.
Demi’s personality is just as wonderful as her looks. She’s sweet, silly, and has a way of making everyone laugh. She gets the zoomies like a puppy, does a little dance when she’s happy, and soaks up attention like it’s her job. She’s friendly with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a perfect fit for just about any family.
She’s also the full package when it comes to manners—crate trained, housebroken, spayed, and fully vaccinated. Demi is ready for her forever home, where she can keep working on her “glow-up” while spreading love, joy, and belly laughs every single day.
RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:

A potential adopter will submit an application. A vet reference is very helpful and will speed the adoption process along. Once approved, a phone interview will be conducted and the adopter will sign a contract. Transport will then be scheduled to bring the new pet home.
