My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ari - The Sweet, Silly, One-of-a-Kind Husky Mix Who's Been Waiting Far Too Long 💛

Ari has been with us far, far too long, and it's time for this special girl to finally find the person who will love her the way she deserves. She's a stunning 7-year-old Husky mix with a big personality, a goofy side, and the most loyal heart once she trusts you.

💙 Her Comeback Story

Ari didn't start life with the easiest path. When she first arrived, she was overwhelmed by the world and extremely dog-reactive. But with patience, consistency, and the incredible support of our trainer, Tracy-Lee, Ari has made *huge* strides.
Today, she can enjoy playtime with small and calm dogs, explore new environments with confidence, and show off her gentle curiosity. Her progress has been nothing short of amazing. She's perfectly house trained and knows basic commands along with some fun tricks!

🍖 Food-Motivated & Ready to Learn

Ari is extremely food-driven - which makes training fun, rewarding, and full of enthusiasm! She's also on a hydrolyzed protein diet that keeps her tummy comfortable and healthy. It's simple to maintain and helps her feel her best.

🧡 What Ari Loves

• Playing fetch until your arm gives out 🎾
• Squeaky toys - the louder, the better 🧸
• Routine, structure, and people who give her space to warm up
• Earning snacks (her greatest joy)

🐕 Her Social Style

Ari is a bit people-specific, especially around men. She just needs slow, positive introductions so she can feel safe. Once she bonds with you, she's affectionate, silly, playful, and incredibly loyal.

With other dogs, she does best with calm or timid personalities and thrives with proper introductions. She's respectful, curious, and so proud of how far she's come.

🏡 Ari's Ideal Home

Ari isn't a difficult girl - just particular, and deserving of someone who respects her boundaries and celebrates her quirks. She's looking for:

• A patient, experienced adopter
• Someone who understands basic dog body language
• A home willing to continue her training journey
• Slow introductions to new people
• A calm or timid dog friend (optional, but she loves having one!)
• Commitment to her hydrolyzed diet for tummy health
• A safe, loving space where she can relax, play, and be her bright, goofy self

---

Ari has been waiting over 150 days for her forever family 😢💔. She's more than ready for her happily-ever-after - and she has so much love, laughter, and loyalty to give.

If you think you might be the person she's been holding out for, please reach out.
Let's give this incredible girl the fresh start she truly deserves. 🏡💞
