In legend, when the Bolsheviks stormed the Winter Palace, few of the royals escaped assassination. One was the young princess whose whereabouts have been the source of lore, intrigue, mystery, and an animated movie (with Meg Ryan as Anastasia).
Well, I can say, with certainty that Anastasia is HERE! Right here, today, in Greeneville, Tennessee.
The only true mystery is why this little foundling didn't get adopted during her stray hold or why her humans didn't come to save her 💔
She is affectionate, a bit shy and currently a little jumpy. But she is also young and playful and pretty smart.
Her diminutive size makes her a great (if somewhat largish) lap dog, assuming she is up to such activity. We must keep in mind proper protocols to use with nobility!
perhaps a Keeshond mix only on the small size of about 29 pds. She will be spayed , vaxed and hw status revealed in a week. Housebroken, good with other dogs for sure. Crate training in progress as is leash work. Fostered in Greeneville, TN. We will bring to Florida with a COMMITTED foster or a foster to adopt!!!!

We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application.When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We have a virtual home-check process (don't forget to submit photos of the exterior of your home!) Adoption fees range depending on the age of the dog. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.

We are a small, foster-based rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one-on-one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.
It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.
