Hi, I’m Marty — a handsome little tabby who’s equal parts shy sweetheart and curious explorer!
I had a bit of a rough start, so I can be nervous when I meet new animals. Dogs are definitely too scary for me, and when I first arrived, I hissed and ran away from the other foster kittens too. But once I realized they weren’t going to bother me, I started to cuddle, play, and join in the fun. I still get startled sometimes and might hiss if a kitty sneaks up on me, but I recover quickly. With a patient, gentle home, I know I’ll continue to blossom.
Even though I’m anxious with animals at first, I love children and feel very safe around them. I enjoy being petted, cuddled, and included in the fun.
When I’m relaxed, I’m a silly, energetic boy who loves to zoom, pounce, and explore. Give me a crinkly paper ball, a wand toy, or just a cardboard box, and I’ll turn it into the best game ever. After I’ve burned off my energy, I turn into a total cuddlebug who just wants to curl up and purr.
I would do best in a calm home with kind people who understand that I need a little time and patience to feel safe. Once I trust you, I promise I’ll be your playful, loyal, loving little buddy.
If you’re looking for a kitten with a big personality, a tender heart, and a huge potential for growth, I’d love to meet you.
My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.
Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays
