Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rocky! 🐾
Rocky is a handsome young tabby boy with a heart full of love! He may start out a little shy, but once he feels comfortable, he turns into a total cuddlebug who adores spending time with his people.
Rocky is great with kids, cats, and dogs, making him a wonderful fit for just about any home. He’s also the identical brother to Moose, and the two share the same sweet, playful personality.
If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who just needs a little time to show his big heart, Rocky might be your purr-fect match! 💕

Our adoptable animals are fostered in loving homes throughout Huntsville, Alabama and the surrounding area. Because we do not operate a physical shelter, meet-and-greets are arranged by appointment only—typically after an adoption application has been submitted and approved.

More about this rescue
Friends of Rescue is headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama with transport locations throughout the Great Lakes and New England. FOR is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2009.
Our mission is to save adoptable dogs and cats from overcrowded Southern shelters where limited space, minimal funding, and high intake rates often lead to euthanasia.
We are not professional trainers or animal behaviorists—just dedicated individuals working together to give these animals a second chance. Every pet in our program lives in a loving foster home and receives age-appropriate veterinary care while awaiting adoption.
Our ultimate goal is to match each animal with a committed, compassionate individual or family who will provide a FORever home.
