My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Harvest, a quiet and gentle soul who prefers observing the world from a safe distance. While he may not be the cuddly house-cat type, Harvest still has so much to offer — especially to someone looking for a calm, independent feline presence around their property.

This shy boy isn’t seeking the hustle and bustle of indoor life. Instead, he would flourish in a peaceful barn or outdoor home where he can have the freedom to roam, nap in sunny spots, and be part of your daily landscape in his own subtle way. In return for food, shelter, and kindness, Harvest will be a respectful, low-maintenance companion and a helpful presence around your property.

He may exchange shy glances and slow blinks rather than head bumps, but with time, patience, and consistency, Harvest may even show you his quieter kind of affection.

If you have a safe outdoor space and room in your heart for a gentle, independent kitty who just needs a chance, Harvest is ready to settle in and enjoy his peaceful new life. 🍂🐾Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is based on making the right match. Though people can apply for a specific animal, we would like to know more about lifestyle and match a pet with that lifestyle. For example, we would not want to match an active dog with an inactive one. Therefore, our primary concern is the interview process and getting to know the potential adopter.
