My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

* Ready to take on the world — preferably with a toy in her mouth and a best friend by her side!
* All puppy: sweet, silly, full of life, and just a tiny bit chaotic (in the best possible way)
* After being cooped up in a crate at the shelter, this little firecracker is stretching her legs and learning how to be a dog in her foster home
* Typical puppy energy — needs patience, guidance, and lots of love
* Loves to do zoomies around the play yard chasing after toys
* Is a great chewer and loves her toys. Soft, noisy, squishy, or tough especially treat filled, they`re all her favorites!
* Thinks leash walks are a team sport (she may try to “help” you walk)
* Friendly and social — loves meeting people and dog buddies
* Very playful and excited with other dogs, though still learning her social skills (can be a lot at first)
* Curious and playful around cats — will likely do well with proper introductions
* Treats, toys, and cuddles are her love languages
* Isn`t picky about her treats- loves veggies, apples, and any type of treat she can find
* Total package for anyone ready for a fun-loving, happy puppy who just needs a little polish
* Sweet, smart, and eager to learn how to be the best dog she can be
* Can be possessive of her food and treats- will require being fed separately from other furry friends

Additional adoption info

When you're ready to adopt your new best friend, the first step is to complete an adoption application. They're available online at www.inapl.org or in person. Our Team will verify the information including, but not limited to: home ownership, landlord approval, veterinary records, etc.

Once your application is processed (24-72 hours), we'll work with you to schedule a meet & greet appointment. This is the time when you'll come to our shelter to officially make your connection. We want the entire family be part of the adoption process—especially any children in the home. And if it’s a dog that has stolen your heart, we do require the meet & greet to include any other dogs in the home to ensure compatibility.

Once you've completed a meet & greet, you'll pay the fee and finalize your adoption. Adoption fees range from $30 - $250, depending on the pet you choose. We offer discounts on specific pets based on age, location, and adoption program. We often run specials as well! No profit is generated from the adoption fee and it covers your pet's vetting— a value of over $286!

You may take your new pet home the same day your adoption has been fully approved and finalized, as long as they have already been spayed or neutered. If your pet has not been spayed or neutered, we'll schedule their surgery and plan your pickup date. Cats and dogs must be spayed or neutered before their adoption is final.
