Introducing Wyatt!
Wyatt is a handsome mixed-breed boy with striking blue eyes and an even brighter personality. While we can’t say for certain what his exact mix is, our best guess is that he may have some Lab and Hound in him — possibly even a touch of pittie — whatever the blend, it works beautifully.
While his paperwork lists him at approximately 1.5 years old, Wyatt definitely acts younger. He has that joyful, playful “young dog” energy, but he’s also learning quickly and settling beautifully into home life in foster. He is working on basic commands, is very food motivated, and continues to show just how smart and respectful he can be as his confidence grows each day.
Wyatt is incredibly social and outgoing. He adores people and wants to be wherever his family is. He is wonderful with children, great with other dogs, and truly thrives in the presence of a canine companion. He loves to play, cuddle, and be part of the action.
He especially loves being close — whether that’s curled up next to another dog or pressed right up against his person at night. Wyatt is one of the best snugglers around and absolutely wants to be your “right next to you” dog.
His hound traits bring curiosity and personality to his day. He enjoys exploring with his nose, taking in his surroundings, and can be expressive and vocal when excited or engaged. He’s interactive, entertaining, and very much enjoys being part of everyday life.
Wyatt enjoys walks, playtime, and mental engagement, but he also knows how to relax. After a good day of activity, he’s happy to settle in on the couch or bed and soak up attention.
His ideal home will provide regular activity and enrichment, a canine buddy, and a family excited to continue guiding a young, social, affectionate dog as he grows. He is resilient, loving, and such a genuinely good boy.
Wyatt doesn’t just want a home — he wants to belong.
