Meet Cozy — and yes, his name fits him perfectly. Cozy is an amazing male Lab mix puppy who is ready to wiggle his way straight into your heart and home. Rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee, he is now safe, thriving, and showing everyone just how sweet and joyful a puppy can be.

Cozy is playful, affectionate, and full of happy energy. He absolutely loves other dogs, does great with kids, and has never met a person he didn’t want to be friends with. Whether he’s romping around with his canine buddies or soaking up attention from his humans, Cozy brings sunshine and tail wags everywhere he goes. When playtime winds down, he’s all about the snuggles and will gladly curl up close for cuddle time.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
