Leah is a super fluffy barn cat with a big love for food and a strong independent streak. She’s quick to show up for meals and treats, and is curious about what's going on around her, but she'd rather you not try to pet her. Leah is happiest in a barn, shed, or outbuilding where she can enjoy regular meals (and treats wouldn't hurt), safe shelter, and the freedom to do things her own way. She’s looking for a caregiver who understands that not all cats want hands-on affection and can appreciate her presence, fluff, and work ethic just as she is.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption contract requires you to take care of the pet and agree to return to our shelter if the pet doesn't fit your situation.

Pay Fee

Our standard adoption rates are $150 for puppies (6 mos and under) $90 for dogs and $70 for cats.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Colleton County Animal Shelter offers pets for adoption to the public. You don't have to be a Colleton resident to adopt from our shelter. Our adoption process is welcoming and simple; meet our pets, work with our team to find the best match for your lifestyle, complete our adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, take home your new best friend!
