Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Rani
Rani’s story begins on the “Kitty Trail” in Piqua, Ohio — a 7-mile winding path through the woods that has tragically become a place where people abandon their cats and drive away. The cats are left behind, scared and confused, waiting for families who never return.
Rani is one of those sweet souls. About 1–2 years old, this beautiful gray tabby was found along the trail, thin and frightened, sitting near the spot where she’d been left. When no one came back for her, he slowly began to hide in the woods, watching for danger and waiting for the volunteers who come twice a day to feed the abandoned cats. Each time they arrived, Rani would follow them to their cars, quietly begging to be loved again and to go home.
Despite his sad start, Rani has such a gentle, loving heart. He melts under soft pets, purrs with gratitude, and just wants a safe home where he never has to be afraid or alone again.
Rani is ready for his second chance — a warm, indoor-only forever home filled with love, kindness, and security. He's waited long enough to know what it feels like to be truly home.
He will be transported to the rescue back in Copley Ohio
