Meet Joey
Joey’s story begins on the “Kitty Trail” in Piqua, Ohio — a 7-mile winding path through the woods that has sadly become a place where people abandon cats. Left to fend for themselves, these cats wait for families who never return, relying on the volunteers who visit twice a day to bring food and care.
Joey is a sweet, 7-month-old orange tabby who was left behind at the trail. He’s curious, playful, and affectionate, but he’s also experienced the uncertainty of being abandoned. Each time volunteers arrive, Joey follows them, quietly asking for love, safety, and a warm home of his own.
Despite his rough start, Joey is ready to trust again and show endless affection. He’s looking for a safe, indoor-only forever home where he can finally feel secure, loved, and cherished.
