Meet Dixie, a beautiful 2-year-old Lab with a heart full of love and a zest for adventure! Wherever her human goes, Dixie wants to be right there — hiking through trails, strolling around the neighborhood, or jumping into the car for the next great ride.

Dixie is great with dogs and horses, making her an ideal fit for a home that enjoys an active lifestyle or has other friendly animals. She’s crate trained, knows “sit,” and is working on mastering a few more commands. She’s eager to please, incredibly loyal, and happiest when she’s part of the action.

Whether you’re looking for a hiking partner, a road trip buddy, or a devoted companion who will follow you anywhere, Dixie is ready to make every day brighter.

The adoption donation varies on the age, breed and vet care provided. All of our dogs receive all necessary vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and dewormings. All of our long haired dogs are professionally groomed and our senior pups receive a dental. After filling out an adoption application, one of our team members will check your vet reference and set up a time for you to meet the dog. We do a home check as part of the adoption process and all members of the household (human and canine) must meet the dog prior to finalizing the adoption.

We are a 100% foster based rescue organization. We do not have a facility that you can visit as each of our dogs live in foster homes until they are adopted. We run off of donations and every dollar helps!
