My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Slade is almost 5 years old, and all the ladies say he’s the sweetest doggo around! He’s currently living with children ages 11 and 9 in his foster home and does wonderfully with them. He can also do well with younger kids, though quick or sudden movements may startle him at times, so gentle interactions are best.

Slade loves other dogs and especially enjoys the company of female pups, but he’ll happily warm up to male dogs too—especially if treats are part of the introduction! He hasn’t been tested with cats yet, so his compatibility with feline friends is unknown.

This handsome boy has a laid-back personality and is perfectly content with a daily 20-minute walk followed by plenty of time to relax and unwind. Slade would do best in a home with a consistent, predictable routine where he can feel safe and comfortable.

Think Slade might be your perfect match? We’d love for you to meet him!
