My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Esther is a beautiful female torbie with a heart just as lovely as her markings. She’s incredibly sweet, adores people, and enjoys the company of other cats. Esther has a fondness for the finer things in life, cozy beds for lounging and tall cat trees where she can perch and survey her kingdom. She was originally adopted from us as a kitten and recently returned due to her owner’s health, coming back with her brother Ian, who has since found his home. After spending some time outdoors, Esther was understandably skittish at first, but she has blossomed beautifully. Now confident and comfortable, she happily greets everyone who enters the room and is ready to shower her future family with affection.

Her adoption fee is donation based aka choose your price! This covers her spay, up-to-date vaccinations, preventatives, FeLV/FIV testing, and microchip!

If you are interested in adopting or visiting Esther, please feel free to submit an adoption application at www.valleyanimal.org or walk in on the weekends from 10-4! We are appointment based Wednesday-Friday!

More about this shelter

Valley Animal Center houses thousands of dogs and cats annually until they are placed in loving homes. Majority of our shelter animals are rescued from local animal control agencies who have no more space for their animals. Even animals who have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured are cared for and nurtured until a loving home is ready to adopt them.

We are easily accessible to the residents of the entire six-county region it serves. Even individuals from out of the area and out of state have come to Valley Animal Center to adopt animals from us and utilize our clinic services.

Our mission is to unite dogs and cat with loving people but it does not simply end at the adoption process. With our low-cost clinic, a membership-based dog park, and humane education resources found on our website, we want to ensure our community has easy access to resources that will help them along in their pet ownership journey.
