My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET SWEET MACY! Macy is a sweet 5-/12-year-old chocolate-and-white Aussie-Lab, mix, possibly with a little pit mixed in.She has been waiting for two years for a home and currently need a foster or forever home. She was originally rescued from a high-kill shelter where she had kennel mates! She's still an active girl, and would love to be with a person or people who go for walks, hikes or other outings. She loves the water and car rides and is a happy girl. And she loves to snuggle! Macy weighs about 45-50 lbs. She would especially love a home with someone who works from home or is retired. Can you open your home and heart to her? Please email for an application.

Additional adoption info

We work hard to match animals with people, and have a high success rate doing so. We want our dogs, cats and adopters to be happy!

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization based in Southern California, but we adopt dogs to people in states across the country. In 2024, we adopted almost 200 animals to people in California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Texas and New York. Most of the animals we save come from high-kill shelters in California, but we also take in owner surrenders.
