My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Ricky

A 14-year-old Basset Hound–Terrier mix who recently came to Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue after his owner passed away and none of the family would take him.  He arrived with Lucy and these two sweet souls have spent their entire lives together.  While we would like to keep them together, they are not bonded and can be adopted separately. He was hit by his owner but he doesn't seem to be as traumatized as Lucy.

Ricky, true to his namesake, is full of life and charm — friendly, outgoing, and always ready for a cuddle.

Thank you for helping us keep our promise — to care for seniors like Lucy and Ricky when they need us most.

Adoption Fee $300   https://rainbowbridgerescue.org/adopt/  Application must be completed

More about this rescue

We bring in the senior dogs and medically needy dogs.
We are a small rescue making a difference in the world. No dog deserves to dumped in a shelter after giving their entire life to a family.

I had locked myself away from the world back in 2010. I saw this tiny ShihTzu on the news that had been saved from a puppy mill bust. I adopted Princess Reagan Marie and she saved my life. I wanted to help other dogs so I started fostering. In May 2021 I open my rescue.
