My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Sarah Jane but it should be GiGi, short for the goodest girl!

Sarah Jane is an extremely docile doggo with her hoomans and she is ridiculously sweet and loving. She will play when initiated but otherwise, she is pretty low key. Recently it was discovered that Sarah loves to dribble a soccer ball around the yard. She also loves to go hiking and she has done a little paddle boarding with her current hooman.

General Socialization notes
She knows some tricks like sit, come, shake, etc but she occasionally struggles with stay. Sometimes, she will sit pretty without being asked to. She loves to hug with her front legs and when getting a belly rub, it's her favorite when you also hold her head. She is a great cuddle buddy as she loves to be close to her hoomans. She is currently allowed on all furniture but if that's not okay for whatever reason, she will obey and stay off of it. Sarah will also bark at knocks on the door but she will stop as soon as commanded to.

Does Sarah like other animals?
Sarah is not good with other dogs. She is lacking confidence and has some fear but I wouldn't say she is aggressive. She is able to see a dog some feet away and ignore it. But if that dog barks and appears that it wants to approach her, she will react aggressively. Sarah has had some unfortunate interactions with other dogs where injuries have happened so it is recommended that Sarah be the only dog in the house. As far as I know, Sarah hasn't been exposed to any other animals but to be safe she should probably be the only animal.

Does Sarah like children?
Sarah is great with hoomans of all ages, especially kiddos. She will let them lay on her, pat her, rub her, etc. Again, she is extremely docile.

Favorite toys
A soccer ball for sure and she also likes the dogs toys that have a crinkling sound to them.

Ideal Forever Home:
Sarah's ideal home would be one where she is an only pet and has all her hoomans' attention. Lots of couch time would also be great!
