My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

****FOSTER NEEDED!****

I love the outdoors and soaking up the sun!

Hey there! I'm Journey, and I'm a happy, energetic dog who loves the outdoors. There's nothing better than lounging in the sun, soaking up the warmth, and chasing squirrels around the yard (they can be tricky!). I'm at my happiest when I'm with my people, and I'd love a home with a big backyard where I can stretch my legs. I may do best in a home as an only dog so I can get all the love.

General Socialization Notes:
I'm a social pup who enjoys meeting new people! I have a blast playing fetch, tug-of-war with ropes, and hunting for hidden treats in the house! I'm pretty good on my leash, but if I spot another animal, I can get a little excited. I'm well-behaved inside, but when I'm outside, the world can be a bit distracting for me. I'd need a family that is willing to work on that with me.

Does Journey like other animals?
I think I'd thrive in a home with no other animals, where I can have a big yard to call my own. I am not sure about cats since I haven't met any.

Does Journey like children?
Yes, I lived in a home with children, older and younger, and did well with them. I was always very gentle.

Favorite Toys:
I love all toys and especially love playing fetch!!

Ideal Forever Home:
I'd love a home where I can have a big yard to call my own and plenty of toys to keep me entertained. I'd do best in a home as an only dog. I also want to work on feeling more comfortable when seeing other dogs while I'm out walking. I'm ready to join a family that will love me and take me on lots of adventures!
