My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shiloh is a gentle girl with a timid heart - but that doesn`t mean that she`s not full of sweetness! Just because she`s a little unsure of herself doesn`t mean that we can`t see how amazing she is. Shiloh values quiet moments over playtime. She`s happy to simply sniff around by herself and soak in the world at her own pace. She`s got a low energy level, and enjoys laying down and relaxing. Shiloh isn`t very interested in toys or treats, but she`ll happily accept soft pets and company as gentle as she is. She`s a sweet, sensitive soul. With love Shiloh will no doubt blossom into a loyal and trusting companion. She may start off a little shy, but her gentle spirit is impossible not to appreciate!

More about this shelter

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.

We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.

The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.

We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.

We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.

We hope that you will find your new love at our shelter - we always have so many to choose from!
