Melou is a very active and curious little piggy. He is in a foster home where his foster mom says that Melou will stand on his hind legs to see what's up around the house. If you put something in his enclosure, he will instantly approach it, like an explorer would. When the foster blows kisses in the air, Melou is front and center because he knows a treat is coming. Melou is also an interior decorator as he moves the stuff in his enclosure around to create a race track for himself. He gets on his self made race track and goes into the zoomies at least once a day. It is very funny to watch Melou and his zoomies. Melou will thrive with a large enclosure (10+ square feet) with plenty of space to roam, lots of hay for munching and cozy spots to relax. Guinea pigs are extremely social creatures and typically benefit significantly from living with another guinea pig friend of the same sex! Melou would appreciate a gentle and attentive owner who can provide him with daily interaction and enrichment.
