We are obsessed with Bonnie Rae's big round eyes and her sweet little face. She is pretty little 5 month old princess. She enjoys being held, she is playful and sweet. She isn't super rambunctious but she does still enjoy playing. She is often found snuggled up with one of her sisters in a cozy bed.
Miss Bonnie Rae will be a great little companion kitty, she does well with other cats and kittens, and if you are open to adopting a pair, she has 2 sisters that she plays with.

Please note that our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them once adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved.
WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks.
We facilitate adoptions through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT and NY. Our cats travel in comfort with 24/7 care. They have their own hammock, blanket, food/water and litterbox for the entire trip. We have been facilitating long distance adoptions since 2019.
Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, Microchip, FIV/FeLV tested, Mississippi Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you
We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents.

Dixie Adoptables is a 501c3 rescue, operating the Lucedale Animal Shelter in Lucedale, MS. We travel up to the north monthly with all of our adopted pets.
Dixie Adoptables is one of many shelters working to get animals out of the area where shelters are always full, and adoptions of the sweet babies are hard to come by. We are grateful to every person that chooses to adopt and give a home to a loving animal, whose only fault was being born in a part of the country where their value is underappreciated and spay/neuter is done far too infrequently.
