Here's what the humans have to say about me:

In December 2019, the world learned about Yumi, whose entire body had been burned due to horrific abuse. The place believed to be where Yumi had escaped from was the Siheung dog meat farm.
Although other animal organizations immediately began rescue efforts, on Christmas Day — a day that should have been peaceful — the farm owner secretly moved all the dogs to another farm in a rural area.
WEACT managed to track down their whereabouts and, after persistent negotiations with the owner, succeeded in reclaiming the dogs — ultimately saving around 60 lives.
Most of the rescued dogs suffered from severe trauma and deep emotional scars caused by humans, requiring great patience and courage to heal.
Now, about four years later, the dogs and WEACT continue to persevere and work tirelessly to find them loving families.
WEACT Jerry is one of the dogs rescued from that place.

Submit Application

Check our rescue dogs on our website or Instagram (@weactdogs) and submit your application: https://weactkorea.org/base_1/adopt/dogs.php

2.
Interview

If your application proceeds, our overseas adoption team will run a messenger interview with follow-up questions.

3.
Home Check

If your application proceeds, our overseas adoption team will run a 30-45 minute video interview on Zoom, including a virtual home check.

4.
Approve Application

If your application proceeds, you are approved! Our overseas adoption team will look for a flight volunteer and arrange a flight from Korea.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once the flight is confirmed, you will sign our adoption contract.

6.
Take the Pet Home

You will pick up your pup, and we will finalize the remaining steps, including fee payments and microchip registration. Congrats!

Thank you for your interest in adopting a WEACT rescue dog. We are dedicated to finding our rescue dog’s forever home. We would like to highlight that many rescue dogs have trauma, trust issues, and some may have special needs. They will require supervision, time, patience, and love to adjust to their new homes. Please complete the following application as accurately and detailed as possible. You must be 25 years old or older to be considered as an adopter.

4. Adoption Fee Payment after a flight is secured
6. Airport Pick-up

PLEASE NOTE: There is an adoption fee of USD 750 (under 32kg) or USD 950 (under 45kg) which covers medical treatment costs such as spay/neuter, vaccinations to date, microchip implant, flight costs, and customs broker fee.
