My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lana! 🖤🤍

Lana is a beautiful 3-year-old tuxedo momma cat who’s finished raising her kittens and is now ready for a home of her own. This lovely girl has the most striking black and white coat and soulful eyes that will melt your heart. ✨

She’s a gentle, sweet-natured cat who enjoys calm moments, cozy spots, and the company of kind humans. After being such a devoted mom, Lana deserves a life filled with love, peace, and plenty of naps in sunny windows. ☀️💤

Now it’s her turn to be spoiled — could you be the one to give this pretty tuxedo girl her happily ever after? 💕

More about this shelter

The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.

As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
