Sweet little Gigi is a gentle, timid soul who truly needs a home with a confident, playful dog companion to help her flourish and feel safe. She's a bit shy and scared of the world right now, but she absolutely loves being around other dogs, is sweet and playful with her canine friends, and relies on them to help her come out of her shell. She must have a secure, fenced-in yard where she can safely explore and play with her new best friend. If you have a welcoming, self-assured dog ready to be a wonderful mentor, Gigi promises to be a loyal and loving addition to your family!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
