Meet Merlin,
This playful, smart boy is as clever as his name suggests! Merlin is bright, food-motivated, and loves learning new tricks. He already knows how to sit and lie down, and with his eagerness to please, he’s well on his way to being an easily trained companion.
At about 45 pounds, Merlin is the perfect family-sized dog — big enough for adventures, but not too big for couch cuddles. He loves to play, has done will with other dogs, and brings joy with his fun-loving, affectionate personality.

Merlin is in our Mutts with Manners in facility training program. This program to give our long-term residents more enrichment and a chance to truly shine outside the shelter—showing who they are beyond the cards that they have been dealt. Merlin is a silver star meaning he has 60% accuracy for basic commands and is also working on learning more advanced commands.
