Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Katie is a beautiful sable GSD with a gentle and loving spirit. She came to us with a history of multiple UTIs. We believe she has an ectopic ureter (congenital defect) which is easily corrected with surgery. Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids accepted Katie into their program. Katie gets along very well with other dogs. She has 2 foster brothers and a foster sister to make sure she continues to get along. We are not sure about cats, but based on her history of chasing chickens, we would be wary of placing her in a home with cats.
Please keep an eye out on Katie. We will update as her care progresses.

More about this rescue
Founded in 2005, we are a volunteer home-based rescue group run by dedicated volunteers. Our dogs live in volunteer homes as family members with the same love, care and attention they would receive in an adoptive home.
We provide training, socialization, vet care and evaluation for all of the dogs in our care. All of our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
GSDRI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization licensed by the state of Iowa.
