My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dot!

Dot is a sweet 2-year-old “tabbyco” (tabby + calico) with the most adorable orange dot right on her forehead—her little crown.

She was rescued from a tough situation in a trailer park where someone was suspected of harming cats, but despite her rocky start, Dot has blossomed into a gentle, loving companion.

Dot is a quiet soul who doesn’t ask for much—she’s not demanding, just happy to be near her people. She’s affectionate, soft, and absolutely adores love when it’s offered. The perfect mix of independence and cuddly companion, Dot will happily keep you company while you relax, work, or unwind.

If you’re looking for a calm, tender-hearted kitty who will bring quiet joy into your life, Dot is your girl.

Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets.

If you’re interested in adoption, please visit straylovefoundation.org and complete an adoption application.

Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes:

  • A combo test
  • Deworming
  • Spay/neuter procedures
  • Vaccinations
  • Microchipping

We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life.

While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high.

Additional adoption details:

  • Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses.
  • Home checks may be conducted.
  • Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $168.
  • For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses.

Can't adopt? Consider donating, sponsoring, or volunteering! Every form of support makes a difference.

Tax-deductible donations can be made via PayPal using info@straylovefoundation.org, or by clicking the donate button on our:
