May was found in West Philly with her litter of two-week-old kittens and from the moment she was brought inside has been sweet, social, and gentle. She’s taken great care of her rambunctious babies and is now ready for a home of her own. May is curious and confident, very food motivated, and loves purring up a storm while getting pet. If she feels mealtime is being delayed, she will absolutely parkour to get to a better position for requesting food, and would enjoy having space to explore, but she will also happily lounge both on her own and with people. She likes being held and head butts to request scritches. Her gorgeous torbie/tabico swirls are striking from every angle and she has a petite frame. She’s been neutral when meeting other adult cats, and has sniffed at dogs separated by doors without getting upset, but has not had a chance to meet any directly since she’s been taking care of her babies. May hasn’t gotten to meet young children yet but has never shown any instinct to scratch or bite when being handled by her foster family, so we think she'd do well with older kids.
May Ithan is around 2 years old and is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. She is Affectionate, Athletic, Friendly, and Gentle.
Adoption fee: $100 (plus tax)

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
