Holy Cannoli Romeo is a whirlwind of energy. He and Sampson are complete opposites but in the best ways. Romeo has no fear…whatsoever. He may think he’s a lion or a tiger the way he acts. He comes when you call him. He’s all about people. Wants to follow you everywhere and pet, not held, but pet, he thinks. If you pick him up he squirms to your shoulders and immediately starts to purr. He’ll run down your arm without even knowing what’s at the end. Him and Sampson tumble and play and when Sampson gets tired of him he goes and lays down and Romeo finds some form of entertainment. He’s a hoot. Oh and he’s a black tabby so you can see his tiger stripes.

Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet.
Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier.
