My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✨🐾 Meet Connor 🐾✨
Connor is around 3 years old and has been patiently waiting in rescue since January 2025, after his previous owner could no longer care for him. While the details of his past are unclear, one thing is obvious—Connor is a doll baby who has clearly been loved and taught how to be a very good boy.
Connor is house trained, crate trained, and has wonderful manners. He doesn’t jump on people like many dogs do and carries himself like a true gentleman. He’s very muscular, strong, and confident, yet calm and respectful—just an overall amazing boy.
When it’s time to play, Connor is all in. He loves playing ball and can even catch it in midair like a pro 🎾😎. And water? Oh, Connor is obsessed. He wants all the water, all the time—hose, sprinkler, rain, you name it. Fair warning: if your finger is blocking the water hose, you might end up with one less finger because Connor will absolutely try to get every drop 💦😂. Cold weather doesn’t stop him either—16 degrees or not, he’s still ready for water fun.
Connor is kid-friendly with children 12 and up due to his size and strength. He does well with other dogs and may possibly be okay with a cat, keeping in mind that some dogs do like to chase.
He’s fully vetted, knows his commands, and has a calm, happy-go-lucky personality. Not hyper, not chaotic—just a loyal companion who enjoys being with his people and living life to the fullest.

More about this rescue

Journey's Legacy is a small rescue in Cleveland, TN. We save dogs from the local shelter, off the streets, and occasionally owner surrenders if there is room or an urgent need. We have dogs in foster homes, boarding facilities, and the ranch. We specialize in medium to large breed dogs. We are working hard to get laws to change to require pet owners to spay and neuter their pets to stop the overpopulation of animals.
