Hi, I’m Patches! I’m a sweet, snuggly 5-year-old tortie who loves nothing more than curling up in your lap for some serious cuddle time. I’m super patient and don’t mind kids or dogs, I just want to be your gentle companion.
You might notice I’m missing some fur on my lower half because I sometimes overgroom when I get a little stressed. My caretakers help me feel calm with extra love, routine, and cozy spaces, and I’m doing great! With the right home that understands my needs, I promise I’ll be your most loyal, affectionate friend.
If you’re looking for a soft-hearted buddy who’ll greet you with purrs and plenty of love, I’m your girl! Adopt me today!

More about this shelter
The Oahu SPCA was founded in April of 2009 and launched its mission, "Every healthy, treatable animal will find a forever home." The overwhelming support of community members was instrumental in helping to establish the first animal shelter in the state of Hawaii with a "no-kill philosophy." On July 18, 2009, 432 animals were relinquished to the Oahu SPCA the Largest Animal Rescue in the history of Hawaii. The Oahu SPCA rescued all 432 animals in 48 hours after the owner of an animal sanctuary in Waianae passes away.
