Buckey is an adorable 3-year-old, 14-pound Terrier/Chihuahua mix with the cutest serious face and the most expressive ears you’ve ever seen! This sweet boy has a gentle heart and just wants to find someone he can love and trust. At first, Buckey can be a little shy and might bark when he’s unsure—but give him a little time, and he’ll show you his true, loving personality. Once he feels safe, he’ll want to be by your side all the time, soaking up affection and companionship. Buckey also has a bit of a watchdog spirit—he’ll be sure to let you know when someone’s at the door! Though he’s currently scared at the shelter, it’s clear he just wants out so he can feel safe and comfortable again in a loving home. Buckley’s adoption fee is $125.00 and includes first vaccinations, worming, microchip, and sterilization. We have a dog park to check compatibility with possible sibling dogs. Please fill out an adoption application at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety.com and a volunteer will contact you in 2-3 business days. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet and must be completed on the Heber Springs Humane Society website.
