My name is Ridge!

Hi there, I’m Ridge!
Everyone at the shelter has their own guess about what mix of breeds I might be — and honestly, it’s anyone’s call! With my band of hair growing backward down my back and my wheaten coloring, some say I could be a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Others think I might be part Yellow Black Mouth Cur, a Southern hunting breed known for smarts and versatility. A few even see hints of Weimaraner, a breed famous for energy, endurance, and adventure.

Whatever my lineage, one thing’s for sure — I’m a high-energy, intelligent, and fun-loving dog who’s ready to explore the world with my new family!

During my photo session, I showed off just how adventurous I am — I jumped out an open office window, ran a few victory laps around the property, and then came right back when the door opened again. What can I say? I like to keep things interesting!

I’d love a family that enjoys hiking, trail walks, and exploring the outdoors as much as I do — and most of all, one who will love me for the rest of my life.
