Mazo and Minko are wonderful, tuxedo brothers. They bring out the best in each other and need to be adopted together. Mazo (more white on face) is a gentle soul with a charming spunky side. Once he trusts you he is very playful and wants constant attention. He loves playing with his brother, chasing toys, and splashing in the water bowl (or any water he can find). Minko is a sweet snuggler and the explorer of the pair. A lap cat, he enjoys watching TV with you and sleeping on top of you. If he is not by your side, he has found a new place to nap, is playing with his brother, or is looking at himself in a mirror. These brothers were pulled from Animal Care Centers, the city shelter. We know little of their history yet today they are healthy housecats eager to find their forever humans. Mazo and Minko were born around April 2024.

Once you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend a Zoom group seminar on cat care. We invite both novice and experienced alike to attend. Then you would sign the adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older.
All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered. If you adopt kittens that are too young to be altered, we will arrange the spay/neuter/microchip at a later date at a partner vet.
