Meet Kia, a delightful puppy brimming with energy and affection. As a lively and playful companion, she loves engaging in fun activities and enjoys cuddling after a day full of adventures. She is friendly and excitable, often showing her joy through playful jumps and barks. She weighs 31 pounds and likes toys, walks, and being by herself. Because Kia spent her days outdoors, she is unfamiliar with house training so she`ll need your help. She`s a bit of a digger and has a knack for escaping to explore, which means she`ll thrive with some training to channel her enthusiasm positively. She`s a smart cookie because she is figured how to open gates and jump fences when she wants to go adventuring. In spite of her mischievous spirit, she has learned the no command. Even though she wasn`t walked in her last home, she does fairly well on a leash. In her first home she was friendly and playful with dogs, cats, children, and even chickens. A recent adopter said she was aggressive with dogs and cats but we have seen no sign of this behavior at the shelter during a behavior evaluation. You can always bring your dog and kids to meet her to be sure they get along. Kia`s spirited nature and eagerness to love make her the perfect addition to any family looking to grow with a joyful, loving pet. (tw 1/21/2026)
