This helps Second Chance Dog Rescue with pet care costs.
Meet Chia! Chia is a two year old, 8 pound chihuahua. First off, this tiny girl can bark so if you live somewhere that this will be an issue, please keep scrolling. Chia is full of energy and personality! She loves to play with toys and chew on bones. She’s very puppy like and seems younger than her stated age of 2. At first meet she will bark, chase, and act a fool but within just a few minutes she will be your friend. She gets along with all the dogs, big and small, in the house even if she gets jealous sometimes. For a small thing, she exudes a lot of confidence and tries to be the boss. She’s even fine with the cats. Chia is very food motivated so hopefully will train easily. She’s still working on house training. She sleeps well under the covers through the night. She will howl cry when left in a kennel but recently she only does it for a short period of time, but still a kennel may never be ideal for her. She’s also only been left in the kennel when other dogs are in the room so we aren’t sure how she’d do alone. She loves attention and getting loved on. She walks well on a leash and is good in the car. So if you are looking for a fun loving, playful girl who loves to bark, please apply. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $300.
All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
