This helps Second Chance Dog Rescue with pet care costs.
Meet Indigo! Indigo is an approximately 1 year old mixed-breed male puppy with a sweet, playful nature and a gentle, timid heart. He weighs 20 pounds and is thought to be a chihuahua/terrier mix. He can be very shy and isn’t yet comfortable being picked up or held, but with patience and calm encouragement, he continues to make steady progress. Indigo has been fostered with his sister, Iris, and does well with other dogs once he has time to warm up to them. While he hasn’t had much exposure to children, he does gradually build trust with humans when given space to feel safe. He loves to run and play, enjoys chew toys, and is curious and happy exploring a yard. Indigo is both potty-trained and crate-trained, though he doesn’t have much leash experience yet. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccinations. With a patient and understanding family, this sweet, sensitive boy will grow into a wonderful lifelong companion. His adoption fee is $300.
All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
