My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Simba (chonks) (male)

We found Simba crying out in the backyard as well, we are assuming after the mom left and forgot about him. He had his eyes open when we found him. We don’t know how long he was outside but due to the weather wanted to rescue him. Texas weather gets very hot so I didn’t want to risk, hoping the mom would find him.

He is very talkative and cuddly, he loves making biscuits on covers and might steal the cover if it’s not too heavy for him. He is very shy at times and always needs a little time to adjust to his surroundings. He is very fluffy and loves to headbutt, out of love. He loves napping with people and loves booty scratches. He does take his time trusting but when he does he will be clingy (in a good way).

Since we are a foster-based rescue, viewing our animals online to find one that you are interested is best. Once you have found an animal you would like to adopt, complete the application by visiting our website at: hhsanimals.org and clicking on the animals picture. We will review it and forward to the animal's foster and have them contact you to go over the next steps.
Our adoption fees are:

Dogs and puppies = $175 + tax
Cats and kittens = $105 + tax

Adoption fees for purebred animals and out-of-state adoptions will be different than those listed above.

These fees include all age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter. We have discounted adoption fees for senior citizens and senior animals.
