Pluto is a bit of a wild child — in the best possible way! This playful, energetic pup recently participated in our Shelter to Scholar Program, where he tackled a beginner’s agility course… and let’s just say, we picked the perfect dog for the job! Pluto thrives when he has a positive outlet for his energy. Once he’s had his fun, he settles in beautifully, walking great on a leash and waiting patiently for his next cue. He’s a smart boy who already knows “sit,” “shake,” “down,” and “wait,” and he’s likely potty trained too! Pluto enjoys other dogs for the most part, though every now and then someone just rubs him the wrong way. He’s never aggressive — he just isn’t shy about expressing his feelings with a bark or two. We can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if needed! Above all, Pluto is a social butterfly who adores meeting new people. Butt scratches are his absolute favorite, and he’ll happily melt right into you for more love. “Awesome” is truly the best word to describe Pluto. We’ve loved getting to know this goofy, smart, and affectionate boy — and we can’t wait to see him find the active, loving home he deserves!
