Your future adventure buddy and professional good-time enthusiast! Hockey came to the shelter as a stray alongside his friend Puck, and sadly, no owner ever came forward for them. While his past may be a mystery, his personality certainly isn’t! Hockey is a very friendly guy with a classic Labrador personality — playful, outgoing, and full of joyful energy. He thrives when he has a positive outlet for that enthusiasm and loves staying active. One of his favorite things? Miles & Mutts adventures! Rain, shine, or wind, Hockey is always ready to go and never lets the weather dampen his fun. This social boy also loves going bye-bye and would be thrilled to tag along on outings with his new family. He’s been friendly with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine companion. If you’d like, we’re always happy to arrange a dog meet-and-greet prior to adoption. Hockey has truly never met a stranger — he’s loved everyone he’s encountered and doesn’t have a shy bone in his body. He appears to be potty trained and already knows the cues “sit,” “drop it,” and “down.” While he typically walks well on leash, he may pull a bit when excitement takes over (life is just that exciting!). Fun, loving, and always ready for the next adventure, Hockey would make an amazing companion for an active home looking for a loyal and happy sidekick.
