Capuchina is about 1.5 years old (estimated date of birth Dec 2024), weighing 25 lbs. She is a mixed breed – possibly Pointer cross. Sadly at her young age, she was living on the street surviving from a kind baker who would share unsold bread with her and she would follow him on his route. Capuchina is a shelter sweetheart, who is very affectionate with volunteers and guests at the shelter and walks perfectly on leash. She likes to get out on volunteer walks and is good with other dogs, and enjoys getting out with them. Capuchina was not afraid but neutral with cats – typical of her gentle easy going disposition. She’s the kind of dog with the energy to keep up with you on your adventures, and then cuddle up affectionately afterward. Capuchina is fast and agile, and loves to bird chase. She is healthy, spayed and vaccinated and we think she’ll make a wonderful companion. She is currently at our sister sanctuary in Mexico with flight options to BC or Alberta.
