My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is a 7 month old Rat Terrier mix and 21 lbs of pure love and joy. She adores her foster parents, foster dog brother, and she even likes the cat in the house! Rosie loves her toys and carries them around all day. She goes to doggie day care one day a week and is a big hit with the other dogs and employees! Rosie is energetic, inquisitive, and smart! She needs adopters who will provide her with plenty of physical activity and mental stimulation. She is still very much a puppy and a little rambunctious, but after playtime, she enjoys napping in her crate. Rosie is still in the puppy mouthing stage, so we are recommending no kids under the age of 10. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Submit Application

You may complete an application via our website at http://www.humanetomorrow.org/adopt/.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.

Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.

More about this rescue

Humane Tomorrow is a non-profit 501(c), all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of unwanted and abused animals in Flower Mound and the surrounding areas. We are also committed to spay/neuter assistance and education to companion animal guardians.

We do not have a shelter, so all animals in our program are placed in temporary foster homes until permanent homes can be found.
