Meet Keno!
This handsome boy is ready for a brand-new beginning! Keno is approximately 1.5 years old and came to Balch Springs Animal Services (BSAS) as a stray with a leg injury. After some time to heal, lots of love, and good meals to help him gain back his strength, Keno is now healthy, happy, and ready to find his forever family!

Keno’s had a tough start to life, he was emaciated and injured when he first arrived but you’d never know it now. He’s a resilient, loving dog who just wants to be close to his people. Keno is dog-friendly and kid-friendly, making him a great fit for an active, family-oriented home. His compatibility with cats is still unknown, but with proper introductions, he may do just fine!

Keno will be fully vetted, vaccinated, and ready to go home with his new family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, Keno might just be your perfect match.

We recognize that every home is different and our staff are dedicating to matching you with the perfect new family member!

Sign Adoption Contract

Most pets in our facility are spayed/ neutered. If the animal is not yet altered, an appointment will be set by staff prior to adoption.

We accept all major forms of payment such as: Credit Card Cash Check

Take the Pet Home

Adopted pets may go home with their new families same day!
