My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Meow* I`m in a foster home. To meet me email my foster parent at shay.l.wright@gmail.com.

Meet Napoleon! She`s a one or two-year-old cat who is just looking for her new favorite friend! She is an adorable girl who loves snuggles and attention once she`s comfortable and trusts you. While she may be scared and reactive at first, with a calm introduction and some space of her own, she will warm up. Napoleon is not a very food-motivated girl, but she loves to play--especially with wand toys! And while she doesn`t care for many treats, she does enjoy the occasional Greenie to keep her teeth clean! She loves head rubs and scratches behind her ears and is a very smart girl who learns quickly! To meet Napoleon, email her foster at shay.l.wright@gmail.com.

More about this shelter

At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.

With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our two campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
