Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chance is sponsored by Krystal Kraig Labate.
Meet Chance! 🐾
Chance is a happy, goofy bully breed mix with a smile so big it should come with a warning label. This guy loves people and lives for attention—especially butt scratches. If you’re looking for a dog who thinks your hands exist solely to pet him, Chance is your man.
He’s got some truly impressive hidden talents, too. Chance has mastered the art of pooping with one rear leg lifted (balance is overrated), and his signature “dance” move is best described as enthusiastic hopping around on his back legs. Graceful? No. Endearing? Extremely.
Chance prefers durable chew toys like Nylabones over plush toys and needs regular exercise to burn off his zoomies. Once he’s had his fun, he’s more than happy to settle in for the evening, cuddled up on a soft dog bed near his favorite people.
If you’re looking for a loving, silly companion who will keep you laughing and then happily snuggle by your side, Chance might just be the one you’ve been waiting for. 💙 If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter Hours). If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Please follow the instructions on each pet profile.

We are receiving multiple applications on every pet. If we do not call you to do an adoption, please do not consider it a rejection. We simply have a lot of applications coming in and very limited staff.
Adoption Applications do not place holds on pets, nor do we do pre-adoptions.
Rather than doing first-come-first-serve adoptions, Newberg Animal Shelter considers all applications and chooses the home that is the best fit for that particular pet. We want the adoptions to be happy and successful for the family and the pets.
Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, and at least their first set of vaccines, and microchip.
